Locomotion is a steamy railway puzzler. An alien stole your gold, and you’ve got to chase them into space to get it back. Haul wagons, flick switches, and reclaim your lost gold, through fifty-one increasingly tricky levels from home on the range to the final frontier.

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are comedy and kids. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Locomotion launched on 10 May 2019, within three weeks of Days Gone, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Outer Wilds and Mortal Kombat 11. It arrived 2 years into the Nintendo Switch's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
