The premise, in the publisher's words
Light Years Away follows the story of a starship captain who becomes stranded in a distant and unknown region of space after their ship is mysteriously attacked. Separated from the federation and light years away from home, the captain must explore alien planets, gather resources, and recruit a diverse crew to survive. As they navigate through uncharted galaxies, they uncover a deeper mystery about the forces that attacked them and the hidden dangers lurking in the cosmos. With the clock ticking, the captain must race against time to find a way back to the federation before their attackers strike again, unraveling secrets that could change the fate of their universe forever.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action, open world, science fiction and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
