The premise, in the publisher's words
The Tarot is a cultural manifestation of multiple and uncertain origins that portrays aspects and archetypes of human life. LE FOL finds its inspiration in the Tarot de Marseille, of French origin, created in the 15th century. The idea for the project came from the artist's identification with the interpretation of the Fool's Journey. Integrating contemporary themes, the game uses art and poetry to explore issues relevant to today's society. The protagonist, apathetic and disconnected from his life, finds in the Tarot a break in rhythm and perspective. Through the choices they make, they face their pain and difficulties, reframes and rediscovers their power and the pleasure of the journey…
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are drama, mystery and non-fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
