The premise, in the publisher's words
The United States military has been notified about civilians and research groups going missing within what they call "the backrooms". A highly classified entrance into this mysterious complex has been found in an old abandoned building located in Northern Alaska. Enter and explore the complex using a strange and unknown elevator. Go down alone or with your team to search multiple floors of the backrooms for answers and escape with your life!

It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action, horror and survival. It supports multiplayer for up to 3 players online. Local play supports 1 players. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
