The premise, in the publisher's words
Compete against your friends in a fantasy sport that mixes soccer with kung fu action movies. Fly through the air and unleash a flurry of punches, kicks, and mystical arts to overpower the other team and smash the ball into their bell. Every bell ring counts as a point and the team with the most points when time runs out is crowned the winner.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action and kids. It supports multiplayer for up to 4 players online. Local play supports 4 players. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What it launched against
KungFu Kickball launched on 9 February 2022, within three weeks of Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, Dying Light 2: Stay Human and Vampire Survivors. It arrived 2 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
