What Jawed is
Jawed is an unreleased adventure game in development at ReinerTheGod Games, currently scheduled for 31 March 2027. It was published by PlayWay S.A.. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Jawed is a psychological horror game where you play as Adam, a man muzzled by a life of silent torture since the disappearance of his fiancée. Presented with evidence that she may be alive, Adam must confront their strained relationship and face the only thing that can truly set him free: the truth.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM and NVIDIA RTX 2070. A 16GB memory requirement is demanding — worth checking before you buy, because 8GB is still common in older and budget machines. Install size is roughly 10GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
