The premise, in the publisher's words
Impious is a dark turn-based RPG set inside an underground indoctrination center. Your only way is forward: fight, negotiate, gear up and find your way out. Lose a fight and you won't die, but you will be corrected. Lose your will entirely, and there is no coming back.
How it plays
It is played from a third person perspective. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-6500 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB RAM and Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB / AMD RX 580 8GB. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
