What Hillthorn is
Hillthorn is an unreleased adventure game, currently scheduled for 1 November 2026. It is available on Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unity.
The premise, in the publisher's words
A disappearance in a secluded mountain. A village hiding its secrets. A detective running out of time. Hillthorn's investigation system encourages you to use logic and imagination. Combine actions, clues and characters to uncover the mystery.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are horror, mystery and thriller. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Dual Core 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 / AMD Radeon RX 570. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
