Helldivers is a 2015 top-down shooter video game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in March 2015. A version for Windows was also released on 7 December 2015, making it the first Sony-published game for personal computers since Twisted Metal 2 and Jet Moto in 1997. The story follows the Helldivers, a unit of shock troops mobilized to spread managed democracy and defend their way of life.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer, Single player and Split screen. There are 39 achievements to unlock.

What you need to run it

What it launched against
Helldivers launched on 3 March 2015, within three weeks of Bloodborne, Ori and the Blind Forest, Yakuza 0 and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 2 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
