The premise, in the publisher's words

What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Dual-Core 2.9 GHz / AMD Dual-Core 3.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM and SM 3.0 with 512MB VRAM. At 2GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
FreezeME launched on 10 December 2015, within three weeks of Just Cause 3, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Rainbow Six Siege and Bloodborne: The Old Hunters. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 2 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Just Cause 3, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Rainbow Six Siege, Bloodborne: The Old Hunters.
