Forestrike launched on 17 November 2025, within three weeks of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, ARC Raiders, The Outer Worlds 2 and Routine. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It arrived 8 years into the Nintendo Switch's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
