The premise, in the publisher's words
Phasmophobia is a 2020 paranormal horror game developed and published by British indie game studio Kinetic Games. The game became available in early access for Microsoft Windows with virtual reality support in September 2020. In the game, one to four players take on the role of ghost hunters who work to complete a contract where they must identify the type of ghost haunting a designated site and complete other optional objectives.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action, horror and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player. There are 3 achievements to unlock.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for 6 GB RAM and GTX 2070 or equivalent. An 6GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it.
