The premise, in the publisher's words
Before the current wars, Elyndor was divided among five ancestral forces — Ka'runa, Ybyrá, Ferrovéu, Anhangá and Orun — each believing itself to be the rightful heir of the world's balance. At the center of the continent lies the Heart of the Void: a primordial source of energy that distorts matter, alters time, corrupts creatures and grants power beyond the mortal. Civilizations have warred over it — and continue to do so. The Heart's seal is weakening. The Second Rupture begins, and the five factions march once more toward the Nexus Central. "When the Void awakens, only one lineage shall remain."
