The premise, in the publisher's words
The game consists of three “days,” with each one taking place at a different phase in the player’s life. As you get older, so do the characters in the world around you. Your interactions with them, as well as your relationship to soccer itself, change dramatically with time.
How it plays
It is played from a text perspective. Its themes are sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Multiplayer and Single player.
What it launched against
Despelote launched on 1 May 2025, within three weeks of Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Blue Prince and The Midnight Walk. It arrived 5 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
