The premise, in the publisher's words
You play David, an awfully small abstracted chosen hero tossed into a blissfully simple world overrun by giant culminations of evil physics-beasts. As David, you are given a slingshot-esque gift that you will have to use to conquer your colossus foes. Hold, aim, and fling to attack.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 21 achievements to unlock.
How it was received
David holds a critic score of 80 out of 100. That places it above 65% of the 5,098 rated indie games in our database, which average 72. Games released in 2014 averaged 69, so it scored 11 points above the year average.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for 1.2+ GHz, 2 GB RAM and Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with at least 512Mb. At 2GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today.
