The premise, in the publisher's words
Ten years after the events of Crackdown 2 (2010), a terrorist attack from an unknown source kills power around the entire world. The Agency is thrust back into action after the attack is traced to the city of New Providence. The player characters are called into the field by the Agency's Voice as a last resort to dismantle the mysterious organization Terra Nova.

It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action, open world and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
