The premise, in the publisher's words
The alien invaders are everywhere, attacking everything and everyone! And when they die, the life-force they leave behind is an ultra-incredible energy source! Is there any hope? Meet the Chenso Club: a growing group of fighters here to save the world. They’re using the aliens’ life-force to power up and beat them at their own game. Don’t let their adorable nature fool you - they will happily and brutally obliterate any threat that gets in their way.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action and comedy. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What it launched against
Chenso Club launched on 1 September 2022, within three weeks of The Last of Us Part I, Cult of the Lamb, Return to Monkey Island and Metal: Hellsinger. It arrived 2 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
