The premise, in the publisher's words
The human roads and messy lawns are at a strange duality with the rural wetlands the capybara belongs to. As more and more houses are constructed on wetlands in Argentina, capybaras are being driven from their homes and have found themselves living in peoples lawns. Trawl though the streets to find the woods, and follow the trail downstream towards the wetlands that are safe and full of friends.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Capybara Quest launched on 30 January 2022, within three weeks of Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Vampire Survivors and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
