What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200, 12 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 390, 4GB or Intel Arc A750, 8GB. A 12GB memory requirement is demanding — worth checking before you buy, because 8GB is still common in older and budget machines. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Bounty Star launched on 23 October 2025, within three weeks of Battlefield 6, Ghost of Yotei, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 and ARC Raiders. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 5 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Battlefield 6, Ghost of Yotei, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, ARC Raiders.
