The story takes place on Kairos, a planet whose location was revealed to the wider galaxy when Pandora's moon Elpis was teleported across space in an event known as Moonfall. Standing in their way is the Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator who rules the planet with an army of synthetic followers called the Order.
