Banshiryuu is a vertical-scrolling danmaku shoot 'em up that focuses on fewer, faster bullets, and is the third official game in the Seihou Project. The game came in two major versions, released on Comiket 67 (Winter 2004) and Comiket 74 (Summer 2008) respectively.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Banshiryuu launched on 29 December 2004, within three weeks of Resident Evil 4 (2005), Resident Evil 4, Gran Turismo 4 and Cave Story.
