Atom RPG is a post-apocalyptic indie game, inspired by classic CRPGs: Fallout, Wasteland, System Shock, Deus Ex, Baldur's Gate and many others. In 1986 both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed in mutual nuclear bombings. You are one of the survivors of the nuclear Holocaust. Your mission - to explore the wild and wondrous world of the Soviet Wasteland. To earn your place under the sun. And to investigate a shadowy conspiracy, aimed at destroying all that is left of life on Earth.

How it plays

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 36 achievements to unlock.

What you need to run it

The minimum specification calls for Intel Core 2 Duo / AMD Phenom II, 2 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 / Radeon HD 4670 1GB / Intel HD 4600. At 2GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 10GB. Atom RPG launched on 19 December 2018, within three weeks of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Gris, Dusk and Ashen. It arrived 5 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
