The premise, in the publisher's words
Astrosmash was originally a Shoot´em up game for the Intellivision console in 1981. This reimagined version is based on the game’s original theme and gameplay but much more exciting and challenging. The new graphics are phenomenal and the amazing background music adds a lot of excitement.
How it plays
Its themes are action and kids. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.

Astrosmash launched on 12 October 2023, within three weeks of Alan Wake II, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It arrived 3 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
