1000xResist is an adventure game developed by sunset visitor 斜陽過客 and released in 2024. It was published by Fellow Traveller. It is available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unity 6.

The premise, in the publisher's words

In the near future we learn we are not alone in the universe. A mysterious alien race of giant entities arrives. We call them the Occupants. They are not hostile, but it doesn’t matter. Their arrival is a death sentence. Humanity is wiped out in a matter of months, succumbing to a disease the Occupants have brought to our planet. There is one survivor, a teenage girl called Iris. Somehow she is immune.

How it plays

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are horror and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

What it launched against

1000xResist launched on 9 May 2024, within three weeks of Hellblade II: Senua's Saga, Stellar Blade, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Nine Sols. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
